Believe In Yourself

Believing in yourself is important to be successful in life and business. Believing in yourself allows you to never give up even when face with hard times in your life. Personal problems and business programs alike, just believing in yourself gives you the will to keep going, keep fighting for what you need, want, and believe in.

Go to a place where you can be alone with nobody next to you, no computer in your face, just you and your thoughts. I want you to ask yourself a few questions. Write the questions down and write your answers below each question. First write a simple Yes or No, then write a full detail answer why you said Yes or No.

Questions To Ask Yourself
1) Do I believe in myself?

2) Do I believe I will ever be successful with my online business?

3) Do I have the will to do this for 2 years without making enough money a month to live on?

4) Do I have what it takes to do what the successful people do and more?

If you can’t answer these questions with yes. You need to take some time to read over the full detailed answers why you said no. Then write down how you can change that. It can be as simple as waking up in the morning and say I believe in myself. Before you go to sleep, say I believe in myself.

Face With Hard Times
Let me show you the power of believing in yourself. I started this blog in March of 2008 with no knowledge of blogging. The only thing I knew about blogging is that you can blog about anything you want. So I made a personal blog. Yes, this is my personal blog. November 2008 I was faced with a serious problem. My girlfriend and I no longer had jobs and had to move in with my father. She didn’t believe in herself and was ready to give up on life.(She’s a on going woman but face with hard times, shes not that strong) I was really focused on this blog but was face with a problem that did to be dealt with. I told myself I will never sale this blog but being broke made me really think about doing so. I believe in myself in anything I do and my girlfriend believes in me.

Since I wasn’t going to be online, I did some reach on how much I can get for selling kushmoney. It was enough to start the bidding around $1,000 (at the time) So surely I could make some serious cash from it. It would have helped us out a lot at the time. My girlfriend said to me, “I believe in you and I know one day you will be successful so hang in there.”

With that being said I asked myself the questions above and I answered yes to all the questions. That was enough to try to find another way to get a new apartment. My father is very helpful and one of those fathers that want his kids to live with him. (I personally prefer my own apartment)

Sorry for going too much into personal life, just needed to prove my point.

Surround Yourself With People Who Believe In Themselves
Being next to me and talking with me about business. My girlfriend now believes in herself. She has planned what she wants to do for a blog. Has no problem blogging for years because she knows the power of blogging and believing in herself. I believe she is ready for the ups and downs of blogging.

Believe In Yourself
This is one of the most important things of business. You should never give up and believing in yourself will help you keep going. I am sure you read some bloggers making a post about giving up as I have read a few but they don’t. The post was because they started to doubt themselves and question if they really believe they can become a successful blogger. They don’t give up because they believe in themselves.

I dare you to believe in yourself, do something out of the normal. Go to the mall and scream “I believe in myself!” I did last month when I went to the mall with my girfriend. I beat you get a great post out of it.

Remember, believe in yourself and you will be successful

Believing in yourself is very important, but I would have to answer no to question number 3 because it involves my family just as much as it does me. I could live with a lot less but I don’t feel that my family should suffer while I set up a blogging career.

Sorry, I thought that was implied in the context of the statement, which is the way I took it. One has to remember though that not everyone makes a decent living out of blogging and not everyone may be suited for it. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a try though, because you never know how good you can be at something until you give it a good go.

  4. Believing in yourself can be rather difficult when the success bar is raised so high. We measure our success to those who have it and feel failed when it’s not equal too. Ignore what others have achieved and set your own path. Belief means constantly pushing forward no matter how hard it may be.

I think everyone has their low points at one moment or another. It can be frustrating to try to get a successful business off the ground. The most prominent CEOs in the world today are ones who have taken risks- and had both positive and negative results. You have to be willing to put yourself out there and even if the first few attempts fail, know that if you keep at it you’ll be successful. I’m glad you’re still blogging today, and inspiring other to do the same!

  6. When it comes to being successful online, I always tell myself I’m going to be successful. I think the mindset is one of the most important things when it comes to being successful. Nobody who says I’m not gonna make any money and I’m wasting time really is wasting time and won’t get anywhere.

Surround yourself with people who believe in themselves, and believe in you as well, and you will always have the motivation and encouragement you need to be the best that you can be.

  9. You may have to limit the amount of time you spend around negative people in your life – even if they’re family or supposed to be your friends. Anyone who makes you doubt yourself undermines you.

  10. I enjoyed reading your post and it ws a good pick me up. I really needed to hera that. so thanks. I think you hit on a great point, one of the best ways to make it as a blogger is to believe you can make it and do not give up. Unfortuately, most bloggers throw in the towel at the 2-3 month mark. It takes years to have a successful blog and most people do not have the patience and faith to wait that long.

Nice article. I have a hard time believing in myself, and I’m surronded by people who doesn’t help at all. Failure is a constant in my life, it’s nice to see some success stories (you don’t need to apologze for telling us about your personal life, it’s the best way to prove that it’s possible to overcome to hard times, and it’s better to hear from someone who actually has been down there).
I started a new blog, but I never feel like updating it, most of the time I sit in my PC and i don’t want to do anything, I feel that it’s a waste of time and I end up erasing the blogs (I had some great blogs going and I got mad when my adsense account got banned, god knows why, and I erased them all).
Thanks for sharing, I’ll try to believe in myself, even though there is always someone willing to screw up my day (I’d move to live alone, but I need money, wich I can’t make because I always end up failing at everything I try, it’s like a devilish circle).
Maybe someday something good will happen to me.
    It was a nice reading!

Just keep persevering and find the right mentors, and you will succeed.

  17. KushMoney says:

With question 3, I surely hope a person would have a job to take care their family while they build a blog career. I wasn’t applying that you only blog full time with no job to support your family. That wouldn’t be a smart thing to do.

  18. KushMoney says:

You right, the only way a person can find out if blogging is right for them is try. Never too late to try new things.

  19. KushMoney says:

Yeah, its good that your family and friends encouraged you. The only person around me that cares about me blogging is my girlfriend. My dad only ask about it when checks come in the mail. I think it surprises him that I can make money online.

  20. KushMoney says:

I totally agree with you. Setting your own path is very important. Most people fail to realize that the successful bloggers have been blogging for over 2 years. No 2 bloggers become successful the same way.

  21. aweber says:

i certainly agree with you buddy thats what usually causes people to give up and the sad thong many don’t have that will as others just want it easy.

  22. KushMoney says:

I agree with that. If you don’t take risks once in awhile, you never know what can happen. I plan to blog for years to come, and inspiring others to do the same is me being helpful. I believe if I help others now, It will come back to me sooner or later.

  23. KushMoney says:

Yeah that is so true. In the webmaster forums I see people saying they never going to make any money and feel they wasting their time. Then wonder why they not making any money.

Things take time, hard work, and the will to keep going.

  24. KushMoney says:

lol, yeah. See you at the top my friend.

  25. KushMoney says:

Indeed, I couldn’t agree more. Next I am working on a post the importance of online friends.

  26. KushMoney says:

That is so true. That’s why I rarely go around some of my family members and stop talking to some of my closing friends. They are just way too negative.

  27. KushMoney says:

I am happy I can help you with this post. Yeah right though, most bloggers do call it gives way too early in the game. Patience and faith is very important. There are ways to get your blog known as a A-list blogger quick but that takes a lot of money most of us don’t have to play with.

  28. KushMoney says:

I feel the same way about failing but you will never be successful if you don’t try. It only takes one time to be successful to keep going. I see that you use blogspot. This is one of the problems standing in your way. You make good blogs but delete them. It didn’t cost you anything but time. This is part of the reason I say buy your domain and web hosting.
