Day 10 was a serious up and down battle as I lost money buying into tournaments and placing right outside the cash. I won money playing at the short handed no limit texas holdem cash game tables. Thanks to outstandingpoker I know what to do in a short handed no limit holdem cash game table.
But in the end, I had another losing day. Im going to have to make some changes to get back winning again thats for sure. In other news the RBR Welcome Freeroll is this Saturday. If you don’t have an account sign up to playersonly.

Day 9 was not a good day of poker at all. Since I took a 2nd place win on day 8 I thought I would focus on no limit holdem and pot limit omaha tournaments. It was a true test to my poker skills.
I did my best but couldn’t place in cash in any of the tournaments. Later today when I begin playing poker I will be very picky as to which poker tournaments I join. I cannot afford another losing day such as this.
So I am going to end this post and get some sleep. As always my bankroll stats are below.
Road to PPP: Day 9 Stats
Starting bankroll – $224.87
Current bankroll – $123.08
Ok, I had one of those poker moments where I felt like playing really hard so my bankroll management plan was out the window. I deposited $57 into PlayersOnly and started playing. Got it up to $68 before my downswing began.
I notice this is linked to my stress. I was stressed out day 7 and most of day 8. In day 7 I was getting killed at the tables or should I say double up sitngos. I have the perfect strategy for double up sit and gos.
You can’t lose with it but I somehow manage to do so. I was down $22 after day 7 before I got my rakeback payment of $1.26 and I didn’t clear anymore of the bonus yet.
Now on day 8 things was going the same way. I was winning here and there but mostly losing. I was still stressed out from personally problems. However, I talked with someone that seems to put a smile on my face whenever we talk. So my mind was off things and on more happy thoughts.
It was what I did a good laugh and just being happy. From this happy feeling I took a big chance. Knowing how bad I am at no limit texas holdem I did the unthinkable. I joined a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool no limit texas holdem tournament at the $5.50 buyin level.
There was a total of 138 players in the tournament with a really nice $310 overlay so the prizes for the top 20 positions was a nice size. I had a good start but end up short shacking through most of the tournament.
I struggled to make it to the final table. Once there I made my moves and doubled up when I could which put me in the chip lead. I made a bad play during the heads up which resulted in me placing in 2nd to win $200 and my rakeback payment was $1.49 also in day 8 I didn’t release any of the bonus.
Starting Bankroll – $57
Current Bankroll – $224.87
As you can see if it wasn’t for my victory in the tournament in day 8 I would be down big time but since I am staying my best to be stress free. I believe I will start winning again. So hopefully I can have more $200 victories and $100+ days. Screenshot to my tournament win is below. See you all at the tables on PlayersOnly.

I didn’t have time yesterday to load my prepaid card to deposit yesterday. I had somethings to handle like cell phone bill, launching the RakeBackRolls forum, and a few other things poker related.
I was still in the poker mood though after I did more studying of pot limit omaha. This time I was really focus on learning which starting hands to use. So I ended up playing poker on Yoga Poker.
A few no limit texas holdem (You read that right no limit holdem) double up sit n gos and a short handed pot limit omaha cash game. I started with $17 when I logged in and logged out with $27 so not bad for a night of poker at the small stakes.
Anyways, I will make sure I load my prepaid visa card and deposit into PlayersOnly today. That way I can get back to my road to being a professional poker player or should I say on the road to becoming a poker star? Either way its all about poker and making a living doing something fun.

I have been in such a downswing lately. I guess its from all the stress but since I killed my bankroll at pokerstars and playersonly. I had enough time to finally do some studying of pot limit omaha and I feel I am totally ready to play PLO.
So I plan on making another small deposit on playersonly today. I will only be playing at the $0.02/$0.04 pot limit omaha tables. As much as these stakes piss me off at the limit holdem tables for not enough being made per hour. PLO on the other hand its much more money per pot so the hourly profit is much better.
I will also be playing the PLO double up sit n gos. Since the basic strategy for double up sitngos is maintaining an average chip stack and letting others knock themselves out of the sitngo. I’m pretty sure I can cash in at least 5 to 7 double up sit n gos out of every 10 played.
Breakdown of my daily PLO bankroll management and play.
PLO cash games: I don’t really trust myself to do very well in PLO cash games just yet so I am limiting myself to 2 buyins at the $0.02/$0.04 tables for both profit and lost. Either I am going to be $2 up or down.
PLO double up sitngos: I totally trust myself to be careful in these double up sit n gos. I will play 5 sitngos and see which way I am going for that day. If I win 3 out of 5 I will play a minimum of 20 sitngos and if I lose 3 out of 5 I will stop right there.
Hopefully my win rate with pot limit omaha is much better than my win rate with limit holdem and my downswings are a lot less with pot limit omaha than with limit holdem. See you all at the tables.

Days 4 and 5 ran together as I kept playing poker. Went to sleep a few times but kept playing as soon as I woke up. I was doing my best to get things rolling. On day 4, I made $40 profit pretty quickly but I lost that along with a lot more. I just couldn’t get things together.
I even tried playing a little bit of PLO. I did really well at first winning hands full house over flush and boat over boat. However, over time I lost my chip stack at those tables so I guess I still have more studying to do on pot limit omaha strategies.
I made $6.67 in rakeback but still lost a bit of that as well. Hopefully I will get things rolling up the hill again. Just stress in my personal life making it hard to get things together with poker. Today I will do my best to clear my mind and focus.
