When I told myself, I will blog about my projects, report my earnings, and dare to let everybody know my thoughts. I knew one day this blog will be a brand name. The question was how to build this brand?

This question has been riding through my mind like, its a 5 year kid jacked up on sugar. Thinking about it for a few hours. I realize I have a team to build this brand, the “KushMoney” name is already all over the net. Every forum, social network, and blog comment. I signed up with the following usernames; Kush, Kush86, or KushMoney. The only 2 that does not have one of those names is digg and myspace. I did have it on digg as Kush86 but I can no longer log in with that username. (I don’t know why)

As for having the team to brand the “KushMoney” name is I have a friend soon to be business partner who is building a clothing company with a great clothing line coming soon… Since I will own part of the company I can always have the “KushMoney” clothing line built with great designs. Every shirt will have the “KushMoney” logo & url on it some where.

I have been talking with many web designers to see if I can get an logo and theme donated to “KushMoney” but no luck so. I am looking for an web designer who is trying to build their portfolio. Known web designers will not donate to a small blog. I know where I see this blog and the “KushMoney” brand is going so an up and coming web designer will get many projects in the future.

Online promotion is very important to any website success. So my plan after my contest is over and I giveaway these 10k entrecard credits. I will be using all the credits I earn on buying ad space. I will not be buying anybody entrecard ad slot. I will be going into the entrecard shop and visiting blogs that accept ec credits to buy advertisement space. I will be buying month ad slots. I am going to spend every last ec credit I get on advertisement space until the “KushMoney” banners are on so many blogs. Every time you go to drop your ec card on a blog you see a “KushMoney” 125×125 banner next to it, you see a 468×60 banner or an 250×250 banner some where on the blog. Once I get to that point I will buy paid reviews with ec credits and start selling ec credits.

Offline promotion is very important just like online promotion. First offline step will be placing the url on the back window on the car, my dad’s track as well, maybe even my sister car. I know for sure the url will be on the car and my dad’s track. I will place the url on the car this weekend, and on my dad’s track maybe this weekend or next weekend. Next step will be getting my cousin to shout out my url on the radio. Since the only thing she does is take care of out grandmother (I thank her for that) and win things from radio stations. Next step after that is get a lot of “KushMoney” shirts made go down to a homeless shelter and call the local news station on myself. I mostly likely going to say something like this “I know you guys always trying to get a new story, you guys better get down to the (whatever the homeless shelter is called) homeless shelter. A blogger is giving the homeless new shirts with the his website link on them. Get here quick before another station finds out and steal the story”

This is only the beginning, I have many plans to build this brand. I see blogs with 40k - 50k+ readers and I think to myself. Now thats a start, but once you get that amount of readers wheres the growth of readership? You can visit a blog with 40k readers and a month later they still have 40k readers. My big goal for this blog is to have 100k readers. So over planning is going to be fun.

My question for you guys is what are you doing to build your brand?
